Spring isn’t sure if it wants to be in a serious relationship at all, maybe it is just in for a fling but the music that’s come out this month is in for long haul. Totally is all having all these feelies and emotions etc. And those feelies and emotions are so being felt as well.

July has brought such a great mix of jams to the table so far. I’m loving this Summer and wanting to just put a stop on time. And the music I’ve been obsessing over this week fits this mood. I want to just keep them all on repeat!

“This is our last song. We only have 8 songs but we’re working on it…”
One band I was so bummed to not end up catching at CMJ was most defiitely WET. It just didn’t work out with the whole upstairs/downstairs business at Santos Party House. But it’s okay. Seeing them at Mercury Lounge’s early November 21st show was just proof I didn’t have to worry about missing them because oh they have a huge career ahead of them. From Dreams to Bad Idea to Don’t Wanna Be Your Girl to U Da Best etc, Kelly Zutrau’s voice was just pure perfection. I can only imagine the larger venues this trio will be playing in a year’s time. They are ready. And oh I am ready to buy the tickets to those shows and an eventual amazing debut LP!
